MINSK, 19 August (BelTA) – A Chinese citizen who returned from China on 10 August was diagnosed with A/H1N1 pandemic flu virus, BelTA learnt from the Healthcare Ministry of Belarus. People who had been in contact with the man have been already examined and showed no symptoms of the disease. The Healthcare Ministry keeps the epidemiological situation in the country under tough control. Europe has so far confirmed tens of thousands of cases of A/H1N1 virus, with 12,903 cases in Great Britain and 12,493 in Germany alone. There are 180 confirmed cases in Russia, 150 – in Poland and 40 in Lithuania.
